With the knowledge of interior design, a derelict building and courtyard in their possession, the client transformed this Herne Hill space into a captivating story. Perhaps it was this vast difference between what could be seen and what was planned for the space that caught the eye of Grand Designs. Kevin McCloud and his team joined our clients throughout the refurbishment and it aired on Channel Four in October 2017.
With the architectural help of Takero Shimazaki and their own interior design expertise, the client developed the derelict space into a stunning 140sqm home. With the bespoke steel windows and doors designed, manufactured and installed by Fabco, highlighted as a show stopping feature that fitted seamlessly into the space. The perfect backdrop to a stunning scheme.
